Control System Engineer, Design, Development Control System Engineer, Design, Development Skills Required Control System Engineer, Design, Development Are you a Controls Engineer seeking a great opportunity to lead our Control System Integration function? If so then read on!

Today, you could be working as part of the team designing, specking, prototyping and testing the new control system for the next generation products. Tomorrow, you could be at the manufacturing division participating in the production launch activities of the control system that you helped design and integrate into our newest product line.

*We are not considering candidates who have a factory/industrial controls background. You MUST have a history of controls design within new products.

What You Need To Apply:

~ BS degree in Engineering or Technical field.
~ At least three years of experience designing and testing control systems for new products
~ Microsoft office PC skills.
~ Good verbal and written communication skills.

What You Will Be Doing:

~ Control System Design and Development Support
~ Control System Integration into Product
~ Electrical Component Design and Development
~ Oversee design/development of new products to improve quality, function, performance and reliability while maintaining cost objectives.
~ Review engineering proposals and provide preliminary cost and feasibility analysis.
~ Interface with Marketing, Manufacturing, Quality, Purchasing and outside suppliers to provide and obtain necessary information.
~ Assist in the establishment of design objectives and execute design to meet these objectives.
~ Plan and approve work done by Drafting personnel.
~ Direct the detailing of designers by drafters as required.
~ Work with Model Shop and Laboratory personnel to develop necessary prototypes and test plans to verify design goals are met.
~ Approve test results to ensure they meet all technical agency requirements.
~ Prepare and direct preparation of Engineering documentation (ECNs, BOMs, Drawings, Specs).
~ Oversee disposition of First Piece Sample Approval.
~ Present periodic project reviews as required.
