Liberty Mutual is looking for an enthusiastic person with a background in Agency Administration work to support our agent appointment process and all related activities. As an Agency Contracting Analyst, you'll assist in technical insurance duties to process agent and agency appointments, agent licensing and in administering agency contracts. Acts as a liaison between all business lines, agencies and Department of Insurance on apointment of licensing of agents and agencies.

  • Responsible for the day to day actions of the licensing analyst assigned to their team and provides technical guidance when necessary
  • Translates & interprets state regulations and compliance requirements and informs producers of licensing requirements
  • Coordinates licensing function and ensures that agents and agencies are licensed in accordance with company and state regulations
  • Ensures that the submission of state department of insurance agency and agent license forms and fees confirm to the laws and regulations
  • Establishes and maintains files and/or database reflecting agency and agent licensing information
  • Ensures accuracy of work and reconciles various problems and discrepancies with full responsibility for resolution
  • Offers recommendation to enhance system applications, workflow and/or operating procedures
  • Performs other technical and administrative duties as required to facilitate the efficient operations of the department


  • Associate's degree or equivalent
  • Two to three years of related work experience with a minimum of 2 year in licensing or equivalent department
  • Working knowledge of advanced licensing procedures and department of insurance, and licensing laws
  • Proficient computer skills including word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications
  • Strong communication skills (oral & written)
  • Sound analytical skills and ability to perform detailed work, reviewing applications, and state regulations.
